You might see an Outlook alert display above a message you're composing that says, "PoliteMail is working on your request.", even if you're not currently using PoliteMail for the message.
The PoliteMail service is running to check if any PoliteMail lists or other PoliteMail resources were used in the message, just in case your intent is to use PoliteMail measurement but haven't turned Measurement on.
This message is generated by M365 and not PoliteMail, so it's safe to continue composing your message as you normally would.
