The Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) is an API for Microsoft Windows which allows programs to become email-aware.
Outlook for the Windows desktop fully supports MAPI, and PoliteMail will function perfectly well in those environments.
On PoliteMail Online or PoliteMail for M365, however, if you are using only MAPI you can send to individual contacts or a PoliteMail List, but other protocols must be set up for more robust list expansion to work, since MAPI is designed for interacting with the Outlook desktop.
