Getting Started and Logging In with PoliteMail Versions 4.7 - 4.9

Once PoliteMail is installed, the server connections need to be adjusted. This will allow for the most seamless use of the application.

A temporary password will be emailed to you as well as your unique PoliteMail server address in an email titled "Your PoliteMail Account is Ready". Make sure to update your password and set the server right away.

Next, make sure to set the Send Email Via to PoliteMail Server.

Select OK.

You can also set the Server Connection settings to default to your account’s unique PoliteMail Server name and Send Email Via the Outlook Outbox or PoliteMail Server.

To do this, update your account’s registry settings.

These registry settings control those options:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VB and VBA Program Settings\Salestream\Config]
“Username”=
“Host”=”your server name”
“SendRemote”=”True”

To Send Email Via the PoliteMail Server, set Send Remote to True.
