Unlike when you use Microsoft Word, text wrapping around Images is not something that most email editors are capable of doing. To accomplish this, you have two options:
Option 1: Two-Column Layout
- The easiest method for word wrapping is to create a two-column row, placing an Image block in one column and a Title, List, or Paragraph block in the other.
- Once your text hits the bottom of the Image, create a new 1-column Row under it and drag over a Paragraph block to put the remainder of your text in.
- Finally, adjust the padding so that it looks like the line spacing and the space between Rows is the same so the text appears to run continuously.
Be sure to do a Preflight Test Send and view this on screens of different resolutions to confirm it renders as expected on any device.
Option 2: Use a Background Image
While a Background Image works nicely for larger images, background images do NOT display for recipients viewing your Message in Outlook for the Windows desktop.
- In the Beefree Editor, you can assign a background image to the entire Message under the Settings tab, or for a specific Row by selecting the Row and toggling 'Row Background Image' in the Properties panel.
- You'll need to adjust your image so that the main focus of the image is along the side, and then add a two-column Row and place your text in one of the columns, leaving the other one blank.
- You can also add a Spacer block and adjust the padding the get the placement of the text just the way you want.
